After their 4-0 win against the Texas Dutch Lions, the Austin Aztex travel to Midland, Texas to face the West Texas Sockers on Friday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m. at Grande Communications Stadium. The team will hop on the bus straight to El Paso to face the Patriots on Saturday.
The Sockers (0-0-1) and the Patriots (0-0-1) played to a tie last week at Grande Communications Stadium in Midland. According to the Sockers match report, West Texas needed nine saves from their keeper Alonso Jimenez, and a late penalty from Andrew Power, to earn a tie.
